What is Chi Walking and Running?

This is a highly interactive walk and run form workshop. We will explore ways to walk and run with less stress on your body, with decreased injury risk and with less physical effort. The amount of walk and running will be in the form of short timed drills where you’ll begin to feel what form changes can do for you. This class is for all levels of walk/runners and for anyone who wants to improve their form.
We will be outdoors, so please bring appropriate clothing (layers). Feel welcome to bring water and a light snack.

• The Keys to Efficient, Injury-Prevention Running
• Chi Walking/Running versus Power Walking/Running
• How to move from your center (dantien) as in T’ai Chi
• Injury Prevention Techniques
• Personal Check-in Tricks and Tools
• Pre-run Body Looseners, Post-run Stretches
• Core Muscle Drills and Exercises
• How to Conserve Energy at Any Speed

You will get a credit good for one year from the event date. (exp 10/19/23) minus a $35 administrative fee. Credits can be applied to future workshops or private training/coaching sessions.
The Instructor reserves the right to cancel/reschedule the workshop, in which case you will receive a full refund.
The class will happen rain or shine.
